Influencer Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Influencer Marketing Manager to take our influencer partnerships to the next level.
About us…
smol is on a mission to change the face of consumer brands by making cleaning products that work brilliantly while using less unnecessary carbon, chemicals and plastic, and keeping prices fair. The result? Cleaning that’s heavy on dirt, lighter on the planet, and better for people’s pockets too.
Since launch, smol has taken the household cleaning market by storm. We are already the fastest growing and most positively reviewed brand in the laundry, dishwash, fabric conditioner and surface spray categories and we’ve got so much more planned.
Having received Series B investment in 2021 and B Corp certification at the end of 2023, our team is focused on combining fast growth with being a force for positive change and impact in all that we do.
In summary...
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Influencer Marketing Manager to take our influencer partnerships to the next level. You’ll lead on building brilliant, lasting relationships with creators across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and beyond, driving brand awareness, trust and growth in a way that feels authentic to smol.
This role is not only about finding the right voices who genuinely get smol, helping us show up in culture, and creating content that cuts through in the most competitive corners of the internet, but also working as part of a team, leading an executive to showcase the ever-growing world of influencer marketing.
What does the role involve?...
Owning and optimising the influencer marketing strategy, working with the marketing, growth and creative team to shape how smol shows up in social feeds through creators across both organic and paid content.
Sourcing, vetting and nurturing long-term partnerships with creators who align with smol’s values and audiences. Building a strong resource of top-performing creators.
Building and managing end-to-end influencer campaigns: from briefing and negotiation through to contract writing, content delivery, amplification and performance reporting.
Nurturing the Influencer Marketing Executive to help deliver creative content and deliverables in line with timelines, brand and budget.
Working closely with Marketing, Growth, Innovation and Creative teams to make sure influencer activity feels aligned with our wider campaigns and business strategy. Managing whitelisting and usage for wider campaigns.
Managing budget, contracts and reporting to ensure campaigns deliver strong ROI and awareness. Writing and approving contracts and briefs that align with the ASA guidelines, ensuring best practices are upheld and delivered by creators.
Keeping up to date on emerging creators, platforms, formats and trends.
Championing influencer marketing best practices across the business.
You will need/be...
4+ years’ experience in influencer/creator marketing (brand or agency side).
A track record of building measurable, creative influencer campaigns that drive growth and engagement.
Strong network and knowledge of creators across lifestyle, sustainability, parenting and culture.
Brilliant negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Experience managing six-figure influencer budgets, with deliverables split across organic and paid social media.
Analytical mindset—you’re as comfortable in spreadsheets as you are on Instagram.
A true love for culture, internet trends and social storytelling.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-led environment.
What we offer:
